Everything for moving day
Every booking comes with a truck, moving blankets, dollies and tools. We wrap furniture, take apart beds and tables, load carefully, and set things where you want them at the new place.
Need a hand with just a few heavy items? We do single-item and small moves too: a couch up the stairs, an appliance across town, or a storage unit to your new place.

Hourly, by crew size. Every crew comes with a truck, blankets, dollies and the tools to take furniture apart and put it back together.
Prices before HST. Billed from when the crew leaves our lot until they return, in 15-minute increments. Jobs in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge include a travel charge.
How billing works
No surprises on the bill
The clock starts when the crew leaves our lot and stops when they’re back, and it’s billed in 15-minute increments. Your quote includes an estimated number of hours based on what you tell us, so the more detail you share, the closer the estimate.
Flat-rate quotes are available for some moves. They’re based on the items, addresses and access you describe, so let us know about stairs, long carries or elevator bookings up front.

Moving questions
How do you price a move?
Moves are hourly, based on crew size: 2 movers $160/hr, 3 movers $190/hr, 4 movers $210/hr, plus HST. Time runs from when the crew leaves our lot until they get back, billed in 15-minute increments. Your quote gives an estimated number of hours so you know what to expect.
Do I need to pack everything?
Yes, unless packing is part of your quote. Have boxes packed and sealed before the crew arrives. Anything left unpacked adds time. Boxes, mattress bags and other supplies are available and billed as used.
Do you need to see everything first?
No visit needed for most jobs. Send a few photos with the quote form or text them to (519) 993-1313, and we’ll get back to you with a price. For bigger moves we can do a walkthrough.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Free with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancelling with less notice may be charged one hour at the quoted crew rate.
Are you insured?
Yes. Youngsters Services carries liability insurance. If anything is damaged, point it out to the crew before they leave or let us know in writing within 48 hours.
Is there anything you won’t take?
We can’t take hazardous waste: paint, oil, gasoline, chemicals, propane tanks, asbestos or medical waste. For moves, we also don’t transport firearms, perishables or flammable materials. Please move cash, jewellery, medication and important documents yourself.
